Original watercolor painting on paper board.

Process:

Using various wet and dry brush techniques, I apply watercolor  and gauche paint to a thick piece of paper. Transparent and opaque layers of paint allow me to create the desired contrast yet keep the subtle qualities of watercolor.

100% acid-free, ph neutral hot press board.

Paint:

Color watercolor pigments and white Gouache made of the finest pigments. Made with pure honey (used extensively throughout the history of art as an ingredient in water based colors of all types) gum Arabic, glycerine and the most lightfast pigments available.

Protection:
Several layers of a water based acrylic UV varnish sprayed over paintings to seal and protect.

Frame:

A dark warm grey handmade wood frame with an off white 4" linen wrapped wood liner.

Signature:

Signed on the bottom right corner of the painting.
